MEET ALTAIRE CAMBATA TURNER, MSc, CCH, CCN

  • I am a Hypnotherapist, Manifestation Expert, Certified Herbalist, Transcultural Shamanist and Student of Jungian Psychology, although my professional career began in international development.

  • 2007-2011, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A in Anthropology, indigenous cosmology and transcultural shamanism with a minor in Environmental Sustainability. (I studied with renowned shamanist Edith Turner and Carlos Casteñeda expert Dr. Roy Wagner.

  • 2011-2013: I graduated with distinction from the Institute of Development Studies (at Sussex University, UK) in Climate Science and Sustainability, with a thesis on the ethnobotany of seaweed farming in Indonesia.

  • 2007-2016: For almost a decade I worked in international development, for organizations such as WWF, The United Nations, UNESCO, The Coral Triangle Center, Same Skies Refugee Support, PhotoVoice UK and the Aspen Art Museum on issues of climate change, cultural preservation, women’s programs and the 2020 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

    • Projects included climate education and coral reef conservation workshops for UNESCO Sand Watch on Nusa Penida, Bali Indonesia.

    • Teaching photography workshops to marginalized migrant workers for participatory research with PhotoVoice, UK on Lombok, Indonesia.

    • I worked with WWF-UK, London, to build and lobby for the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals.

    • I merged programming for the Aspen Art Museum and the Aspen Center for Environmental Services to provide free education field trips to public schools including Title 1 schools.

2015-2019 —
MY RE-BIRTH

From 2014-2015, I split my time between an organic cattle ranch on the Colorado-Utah border and conservation projects on Nusa Penida, Indonesia.

Then, in my Saturn Return, the year 2016 marked a time of massive personal change for me. I was 27, disillusioned with the non-profit sector, with zero savings, while simultaneously recovering a decades’-long pattern of abusive relationships with narcissistic partners. My nervous system was completely fried.

I also struggled with mysterious chronic pain in my abdomen that no medical doctor could diagnose or treat, which often rendered me painfully immobile.

And then, tragically, my older brother passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack, leading to a period of intense grief and mourning. He was only 36.

In my pain of losing someone I loved so dearly, I decided once and for all to prioritize my health and happiness.

After a series of guiding synchronicities, I decided to go back to school to immerse myself in the world of medicinal plants and holistic wellness. To me, this was a way to experience more freedom to work for myself, make more of a personal impact. I knew I wanted to help raise planetary consciousness by assisting with to individual healing - beginning with my own.

From 2017-2019 I moved to Boulder, CO and underwent a two-year training in Clinical Herbalism, Nutrition and Bach™ Flower Essence therapy from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism.

I also became certified in Hypnosis and Past Life Regression with Dr. Linda Backman of the Ravenheart Center, received Ho'oponopono conflict resolution training from the late Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, and spirit channeling instruction from Sally Rossiter and the late Dr. Hank Wesselman.

2019-2021 — MY “QUANTUM LEAP” YEARS

  • I moved from the USA to Switzerland, and to put down roots in Europe while building my business.

  • Then, right in the thick of the COVID pandemic, I quickly started attracting dream clientele and earned 70,000 sFr my first year and hit my first 6-figures in 15 months.

  • I upgraded from a one room, studio apartment (that didn’t even have a kitchen) into a luxurious dream flat with a stunning view of lake Lugano after just a year in Swtizerland.

  • I found my dream bike - a bright yellow Ducati Scrambler Icon 700cc - from a private seller down the road for an amazing price, and then I manifested the exact money I needed to pay for it, all in the same week.

  • Best of all, I met my husband, was living in America. In the thick of travel restrictions, we managed an international relationship and got married in December 2021 (after only 12 months of dating.)

2022 — PRESENT

My husband, Shawn, and I live in Lugano, Switzerland with our rescue cat, Maghetta (meaning “little magician.”) We strive to be living (imperfect) examples of what is possible when we transmute our fears and limitations into more than we could have ever dreamt of.

For the astrologically curious, I was born on the Full Moon of May 20th, 1989. I am a Taurus Sun (at 29 degrees in the 2nd house), Aries Ascendent and Scorpio Moon. My MC (professional path/pubic persona) is in Capricorn in the 10th house. In Human Design lingo, I am a 6/2 Mani-Gen with Emotional Authority.

After nearly 20 years exploring human potential, trans-cultural spiritual cosmology and the subconscious mind, I am honored to bring you along for the greatest ride there is: the journey home to who and what we truly are.
